About Our Rescues
At No Place Like Home, our rescues are treated like family. They are never kept in cages or crates. We work with each rescue individually in our homes and try to socialize them with other pets.
Our volunteers spend a lot of time working with each rescue to get them as comfortable as possible to being handled. We do this so they will make an easy transition into their new home.
Why do we have adoption fees?
Every rescue receives a complete physical exam, is spayed or neutered, and vaccinated. Most are also microchipped. In addition, each rescue receives any other necessary medical care. We feed a premium food diet and provide lots of love, play and interaction. We feel this best prepares each rescue for their new home and we've saved you the time and higher expenses that go along with the needed medical care for a new pet.
Adoption Criteria
To be considered for an adoption, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Have identification showing your current address
- Have the consent of every adult living in the household
- Own your home or have landlord's permission to have a pet if you rent
